RE: Oconee County Regional Airport (CEU) Taxiway Rehabilitation Project and Temporary Taxiway Closure

Regrettably, we have encountered significant construction delays on our taxiway rehabilitation project. As a result, we are now faced with taxiway, parking and ramp access impediments which will hinder our ability to accommodate expected aircraft operations during the first of September’s Clemson Football game weekends.

This letter serves as formal notice of restricted operations at Oconee County Regional Airport (CEU) for these specific dates/time periods:

Friday, September 11 beginning at 0900 thru Sunday, September 13 ending at 1400.

During these periods, CEU cannot accommodate the parking of aircraft with greater than 60’ wingspan for any duration exceeding 1 hour.

As in past years, we will again have a temporary ATC Tower in place. Please remain vigilant for construction barriers, possible runway back-taxi operations and ramp/parking congestion. Check current pilot NOTAMs regularly for updates or changes to the planned closures and tower operating schedule.
